Maxwell has postponed part of his summer tour, including his dates later this month in the Q.C. and Greensboro, N.C., Billboard.com reports.

The crooner’s label issued a statement citing scheduling conflicts with some venues on dates that were late additions to the ongoing tour.

Billboard notes the Web has been abuzz as of late with gossip of beef between the headliner and his tour mates Erykah Badu and Jill Scott, of which the latter’s camp has denied.

Several shows, including the Greensboro date June 28, were to also feature Melanie Fiona. (He was to play Charlotte June 29.) Rescheduled dates have not yet been announced (but are expected next summer); LiveNation has begun to refund ticketholders of postponed shows.
