Twitter and the blogosphere have been abuzz all day about Mariah Carey's new joint, "Obsessed." The song hit radio and the Web today.
It is the first single from her 12th studio album, "Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel."
The song asks a man why he's so obsessed with Mimi. "Boy, why you so obsessed with me?/Lying that you're sexing me ... You're delusion/you're delusion."
Ruh-roh!
Could this be MC's rebuttal to Eminem?
Last month, Carey's husband, Nick Cannon, had words for the rapper after Em mused about an alleged romance with the songbird on his track "Bagpipes From Baghdad," asking why the two had to break up.
It eventually turned ugly, though, when Slim Shady wishes Cannon luck with that "wh--e."
Cannon responded on his personal blog: Eminem is "still obsessed with my wife, the same female that wouldn't let him get to second base from 8 years ago."
"Obsessed," huh? You don't say, Nick.
Well, what do you think of MC's new joint, family? Does this diss song indeed have a target?
