In case you haven’t heard: Mos Def is hitting the QC next month.

He will play Amos’ Southend Aug. 12 with Jay Electronica. 

Mos kicks off The Ecstatic Tour tomorrow (Aug. 1) in Minneapolis. He released his latest album, “The Ecstatic,” last month. 

Soul star (and Electronica’s baby mama) Erykah Badu and Medina Green will also play select markets.

Other nearby shows include: Aug. 13 in Charleston and Aug. 14 in Atlanta.
