More “The Blueprint 3” news is here: This time, it seems most (if not all) of Jay-Z’s latest effort has leaked online, well before its Sept. 11 release date.
We won’t bombard you with all the tracks. Rather, we want to share “A Star Is Born,” the track featuring Fayetteville’s own J. Cole.
We were questioning “BP3” with the previous leaked tracks we’d heard over the last couple weeks, but “Star” could restore our faith.
The syncopation, the horns, the turns of phrase ... we’re believers the Jay of old lurks on the album.
Bonus: “Star” give N.C. a reason to be proud -- Freshman rapper J. Cole holds his own next to the veteran.
