Black man admits to burning cross to keep his white wife
A Florida man was charged with domestic violence, stalking and exhibits that intimidate after
allegedly burning a cross in his own driveway. Police say 50-year-old LB Williams, who is black, burned the cross to scare his wife Donna, who is white. Donna Williams said she was “scared to death” when she came home to find the cross burning in her family‘s driveway. The couple reported the incident. Then, Donna said she found it odd when two days later she received a note taped to the family’s front that said she was being watched and that she “better not leave that n**ger.” The note was signed “KKK.” On Monday, LB Williams was arrested after admitting to setting the fire and posting the note. He said he did it to keep his wife of seven years from filing for divorce. He was released from jail without bond. He is not allowed to go home because of the domestic violence charge against him.

Suspected Shooter hates the president
Oscar Ramiro Ortega-Hernandez, a 21-year-old man, has been arrested in connection with the shooting that occurred near the White House last week. Hernandez is suspected of firing a rifle in front of the White House. He was found in a hotel 70 miles east of Pittsburgh, and Pennsylvania State Police took him into custody shortly after 12:30 Wednesday afternoon. Officials are investigating a bullet hole found in an exterior window at the White House. A layer of bullet proof glass stopped the projectile, but the incident raises questions about security at the White House. According to The Washington Post, the motive for the gunfire may have been simple anger. The paper reports that an official involved in the investigation said Hernandez “hates the president, he hates Washington, he hates society.” ***
‘Hang him from the highest tree’
While discussing the Penn State sex scandal during an appearance on Tuesday night's "On The Record With Greta Van Susteren," former Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin didn’t mince any words. Palin showed no mercy for former Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky, who is accused of more than 40 counts of sexual misconduct with eight young boys. Palin said if he’s guilty, he should be lynched.
“I say about this assistant coach, Sandusky--hang him from the highest tree, I'll bring the rope. I think it's pathetic, it's horrible, it's atrocious what took place. If it is true that these children were victimized, then he himself and anybody who allowed what he did to go on, they should be the one to suffer, not today's young players who have been innocent in all of this."
