The following press statement was issued today by the CIAA:

In less than one week the 64th and 34th Annual Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments will take over the city of Charlotte and Time Warner Cable Arena.

This year's tournament features a new, reduced 5-day format. With the week shortened by one day, the women's tournament will begin on Tuesday, February 24, with two games at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.

On Wednesday, February 25 the men's tournament will begin; joining continued play of the women's tournament. Men's games begin at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
