Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools has canceled all afterschool programs today because of concerns about inclement weather.

Schools will dismiss at their regular times. All athletic events and practices scheduled for the evening, however, have been cancelled.

The After-School Enrichment Program (ASEP) will remain open today until 6 p.m. If weather conditions become hazardous during ASEP, parents are encouraged to pick up their children as early as possible.

CMS schools will be closed for the winter break from Dec. 21-Jan. 1. CMS offices will be closed on Dec. 24, 25 and Jan. 1.
