JCSU names new trustee
Patricia R. Morton, founder and CEO of PRM Advisors, a Charlotte-based financial
management firm, has been named to the Johnson C. Smith University board of trustees.
Morton began her career with J.P. Morgan in 1978 and has worked at Alex Brown & Sons and Franklin Street Partners. She has served on a number of boards, including the Bechtler Arts Foundation, National Humanities Center, North Carolina Biotechnology Center, North Carolina Humanities Council, Duke University-Catholic Leadership Council and UNC-Carolina Performing Arts.
Morton graduated from Duke University with a BA in political science and economics and earned an MBA in accounting and finance from the University of Pittsburgh. She is married to Thruston Morton, founder and CEO of Global Endowment Management, an investment management firm located in Charlotte. They have two daughters.

Henry Thomas has joined Griffin Home Health Care as a client services representative.
Thomas was raised in Charlotte and attended Garinger High School and Central Piedmont Community College.
Founded in 1983,Griffin Home Health Care provides health care equipment to individuals and businesses. Company founder William H. “Bill” Griffin said Thomas is a great addition to the business.
