Seven months after they were convicted in federal court on numerous counts related to conspiracy and tax evasion, pastors Anthony and Harriet Jinwright are set to learn their fates on Wednesday.

U.S. District Judge Frank Whitney has set sentencing for 9 a.m.

Anthony Jinwright, senior pastor of Greater Salem Church, faces up to 53 years in prison. His wife, Harriet, faces up to 20 years. Being first-time offenders, neither is expected to receive anything close to the maximum sentence.

QUESTION: Given the crimes of which they were convicted – they were not convicted of any offense related to Greater Salem -- what is a reasonable amount of time for the Jinwrights to serve?
