ROBBERY: A victim reported being approached by three armed suspects who took his vehicle at gunpoint Sunday in the 1100 block of Marble Street. The incident happened just after 1 a.m.
SATURDAY, JULY 17
ASSAULT: A victim told police he was approached by an unknown suspect he asked him for a cigarette. When the victim indicated he had no cigarette, the suspect struck him in the head with a handgun. The incident happened just before midnight Saturday in the 7100 block of Snow Lane.

PEDESTRIAN KILLED: A male was struck by two vehicles and killed Saturday night as he attempted to cross Central Avenue. Police did not immediately release further details. The accident occurred in the 5100 block of Central at about 9:12 p.m.

AUTO ACCIDENT: A police transport van was stuck by another vehicle Saturday evening at the intersection of Pavilion and University City boulevards. No prisoners were inside the CMP van. Police say the other vehicle ran a stoplight. The incident occurred just before 7 p.m.

ROBBERY: An unknown suspect shoved a clerk at Wayne’s Superette in the 2000 block of N. Graham St. Saturday and took money from the cash register. The suspect was described as a 17-21-year-old black man, low haircut, white T-shirt, tan shorts down to his knees with black hi-tops. The incident happened at about 3:15 p.m.

ASSAULT WITH DEADLY WEAPON: A man was beaten and shot at by his roommate Saturday in the 9200 block of Shadowood Lane. The victim was taken to a hospital as a result of injuries he received during the beating. Police made no mention of arrest. The incident happened at about 3:15 p.m. Saturday.
RAPE: Officers were called to Presbyterian Hospital to meet with victim who advised that she had been raped. The suspect was described as a black male with a gun. He was driving a dark-colored Ford Crown Victoria. The incident happened in the vicinity of Statesville Avenue and Sunset Road.
FRIDAY, JULY 16
ROBBERY: A black male driving a white 16-person Econoline van was robbed at gunpoint Friday and the van was stolen. The van has headlights that shine light blue and has a S.C. license plate. No injuries were reported. The incident happened at about 11:21 p.m. in the 3200 block of Sam Drenan Road.

ROBBERY: A white male waiting for a Linx train at a station in the 9500 block of South Blvd. was robbed at about 9:31 p.m. Friday. The victim told police he was approached by a black male with a knife who hit him and took his wallet. The suspect fled on foot. Police said the suspect was arrested inside the bathroom of a nearby Target store.

ASSAULT WITH DEADLY WEAPON: A man walking his dog Friday in the 5700 block of Albemarle Road was shot twice and seriously injured. Witnesses told police the shooter was a black male. The incident happened just before 9 p.m.
