Man busts woman in head with bowling ball for refusing drinks
What may have began as an ordinary night of fun at a Rock Hill bowling alley ended tragically with a woman laying on the floor next to the snack bar with blood pouring from her forehead. Omar Sheree Stevenson, 31, has been arrested and charged with attempted murder after police say he struck the woman in the head with a 12-pound bowling ball all because she refused to let him buy her drinks. According to deputies, the woman’s skull was visible through the cut. She received seven stitches and was released from the hospital. Upon arrest, Stevenson told authorities he lost his temper. Lawmaker comments on Michelle Obama’s ‘big behind’
Apparently Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner (R-Wisc.) doesn’t think too highly of Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” initiative. The congressman was overheard saying the first lady should practice what she preaches. “She lectures us on eating right while she has a large posterior herself,” he reportedly said. According to a spokesperson at Sensenbrenner’s Washington press office, the congressman stands by his remarks. He doesn’t believe the government should be telling Americans what to eat, but he does plan to offer an apology. (Read more)

Mayweather sentenced to 90 days in jail
Boxing champion Floyd Mayweather was sentenced on Wednesday to three months in jail after he plead guilty to charges of domestic violence and no contest to two counts of harassment. The judge also ordered Mayweather - who is notorious for burning $100 bills and tossing thousands of dollars into the air at clubs - to pay a $2,500 fine and complete 100 hours of community service. Prosecutor Lisa Luzaich believes the sentence was too light. "The only thing that's going to get this man's attention is incarceration," she said. (Read more)
