ROBBERY: A victim reported that he was robbed at gunpoint early Tuesday by four black males. The incident happened in the vicinity of West Boulevard and Remount Road around 12:49 a.m. No one was injured, and the suspects fled on foot.

ROBBERY: A victim reported being robbed at gunpoint late Monday by two black males. The incident happened in the 1800 block of Windham Place around 11:25 p.m. The suspects fled in a gold-colored vehicle. No injuries were reported.

ASSAULT/DEADLY WEAPON: A man driving in the 44000 block of Central Avenue Monday night was struck by a bullet fired into his car. The incident happened around 10:49 p.m. According to a police report, the shot was fired from a second vehicle that pulled alongside the victim’s vehicle. The victim was taken to Carolinas Medical Center with a non-life-threatening injury to his leg. Police later arrested a suspect.

ROBBERY: The Captain D’s restaurant in the 2800 block of Freedom Drive was robbed at gunpoint by two black males Monday night. The incident was reported about 8:49 p.m. One suspect was described as being 5-foot, 3-inches tall with a light complexion and wearing a lime green striped shirt. The second suspect was wearing a blue shirt with stripes and had a dark complexion. The men fled in a blue or black Ford Explorer. No one was injured.

NATURAL DEATH: A 43-year-old man was found dead of apparent natural causes Monday afternoon in the 1500 block of Montgomery Street.

ROBBERY: A suspect armed with a gun robbed a victim of a Mazda truck, money and cell phone Monday afternoon in the 4400 block of The Plaza. The suspect was described as a black male with dreads wearing a white shirt and shades.

ROBBERY: A business at the corner of South Boulevard and Archdale Drive was robbed at gunpoint Monday afternoon by a suspect described as a black man with dark skin, short hair, about 6-feet tall.

ROBBERY: An Hispanic victim reported being robbed Monday afternoon by two black males in the 6200 block of Starhaven Drive, at or near Cockran Middle School. The suspects were said to be wearing black shorts and white T-shirts. One was armed with a gun.

DEATH INVESTIGATION: A 45-year-old man was found dead inside his residence Monday afternoon in the 1800 block of Prospect Drive. Police said they found no apparent signs of foul play. Homicide detectives were investigating.
