First Lady Michelle Obama will be in Fayetteville Thursday to participate in an “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” episode that is rebuilding a shelter for homeless female veterans.

Obama will help build a New Jubilee House that will serve as a resource center for female veterans. The visit will be closed to the press. The show will be aired in October.

Demolition began last week with the help of 180 female veterans and active servicewomen, plus hundreds of local tradesmen and other volunteers.
