Good morning! Today the weatherman is calling for a mixture of sunshine and cloudy skies with a high of 97°.

Did you know that mothers who breastfeed have a decreased risk of breast and ovarian cancers? That is just one of the many benefits of breastfeeding that World Breastfeeding Week (Aug 1-7) is meant to bring awareness to. “The decision to breastfeed is a personal one, and a mother should not be made to feel guilty if she cannot or chooses not to breastfeed,” said U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Regina M. Benjamin. “But given the importance of breastfeeding for the health and well-being of mothers and children, we need to do what we can to help mothers who want to breastfeed to do so successfully.” What percentage of American women breastfeed?
