The Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department ( Missing Person unit ) requests the public's assistance in locating 50-year-old James Eugene Owens.

Mr. Owens is 6'2'' tall and weighs 210 lbs. He was last seen wearing tan jean shorts, white T-shirt, white socks and white tennis shoes.

Mr. Owens was last seen at his home (5700 Ilford St.) on July 12, 2010 at 11 pm.

Mr. Owens is a Diabetic and does not have his medicine with him, and the family is concerned for his welfare because of his medical condition.
