A 72-year-old woman reported missing Wednesday in northeast Charlotte has been found.

Margaret Thames, 72, walked away from her home in the 1100 block of Leigh Avenue some time Wednesday morning. Ms. Thames has been diagnosed with schizophrenia, and her family was concerned for her safety.

Police announced just after midnight that she had been located.
