Faced with the prospect of a 1-15 season, Carolina Panthers owner Jerry Richardson has gone on the offense (which is more than we can say for his team).

In a letter to PSL owners, Richardson said he takes “full responsibility” for the team's current 1-11 record.

“It is agonizing that we have not performed at the level we had planned for and expected,” the letter states.

Among other things, Richardson said the organization remains committed to winning and that “every aspect” of the team would be examined.
