Police on Sunday arrested three people in connection with a weekend killing at the Brookwood Inn on Sugar Creek Road.

Isaac Elias Rodriguez, 21, was shot and killed just before 5 p.m. Saturday.

Charged with his death are: Shanelle Boetius, 23; Jeremy Jackman, 22 and Montreall Banner, 17.

All were charged with murder, attempted armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery. In addition, Banner was charged with possession of a firearm by a minor.

All were being held in the Mecklenburg jail.
