  Danielle Pearson

  Paul Curtis

Police arrested a man and a woman early Thursday and charged them with the overnight robbery of a Circle K convenience store in the 9200 block of Albemarle Road.

The suspects were identified as Paul Steffon Curtis, 21, and Danielle Karen Pearson, 20.

A store clerk told police a man entered the store at about 1 a.m. and threatened him with a hammer and demanded money. The clerk complied, and the suspect left the store then got into the passenger seat of a waiting car that was driven by a female.

The clerk gave police a description of the car as well as a license plate number. Curtis and Pearson were arrested a short time later when an officer saw a car matching the description pull into a Kangaroo gas station on W.T. Harris Rd.

The clerk was brought to the scene and identified the suspects, according to police. Both suspects were charged with robbery.
