Police today arrested two more suspects in the Jan. 10 murder of Kelvin Clark, whose body was found inside an east Charlotte apartment.

Raymond Van Ervin, 34, and Franklin Marcus Grullon, 20, were arrested in Fayetteville and charged with one count of attempt to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Already arrested in the case are Lizzette Celeste Drumgo and Jasmine Monai Johnson, both 17.

Police found Clark’s body in what appeared to be a vacant apartment after being called to the 1700 block of Chasewood Drive shortly after 2:20 a.m. to investigate a report of an assault with a deadly weapon. Clark had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.

His death was the city’s second homicide of 2010.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said they worked with the Fayetteville Police Department’s SWAT Team and State Bureau of Investigations to locate and arrest Ervin and Grullon.
