Police charge second man in May 15 shooting death

Police have charged a second man with the death of a victim who was shot at an east Charlotte apartment complex last week.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police a man approached Miguel Angel Audon' Corado, 40, and shot him.
Days after the shooting, police asked the public's help in identifying a man caught in surveillance photos who was believed to be driving a white Volvo.
Last week, police arrested Eric Everett Blackmon, 25, and charged him with murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon in connection with Corado's death.
Early Tuesday, police said, 22-year-old Kenneth Ravenell contacted police to speak with homicide detectives. After he spoke with detectives, Ravenell was also arrested and charged with first-degree murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Detectives said they found the white Volvo associated with the case.
Blackmon and Ravenell are being held in Mecklenburg jail with no bond.
Ravenell was convicted of misdemeanor drug and paraphernalia possession in 2009, according to the N.C. Department of Correction, and Blackmon was freed in March after serving time for convictions of robbery with a dangerous weapon and larceny from a person.
