Police make arrest in rape case
Police released this bank surveillance photo after a woman reported being sexually assaulted by a man who later took her ATM card and attempted to withdraw money.

Less than 14 hours after a woman reported being raped in her east Charlotte home, police announced the arrest of a man with an extensive arrest record in Mecklenburg County.

1st degree kidnapping (2 counts), breaking and entering, armed robbery and communicating threats.
At 1:13 p.m. Tuesday, a woman called 911 to report that she had been sexually assaulted by a man who entered her residence on Mission Hills Road. After the assault, the woman told police, her attacker drove her to a bank and attempted to withdraw cash from her account. The victim was released on Beatties Ford Road.
The suspect was described as a black male with dreadlocks who was wearing a white T-shirt and tan shorts.
Police released a bank surveillance photo that appeared to show a man inside a car attempting to use the machine.
Mecklenburg jail records show that Teeter has been arrested eight times since 2009, including charges of breaking and entering, resisting a public officer, trespassing, marijuana possession with intent to distribute, communicating threats, carrying a concealed weapon (a cutting instrument) and assault by pointing a gun.
