A fourth suspect, 19-year-old Titus Isaiah Campbell, is srtill being sought by police.

Deandre Demacus Kidd, who had been planning to attend the senior prom in two weeks, was shot to death inside a car about 4 a.m. Sunday, after he and three other people stopped at a west Charlotte fast-food restaurant for an early-morning snack.

Police have not said what might have led to the shooting, and whether the victim knew those who fired shots at the car he was in.

A second victim also was injured.

Williams has an extensive arrest record in Mecklenburg County, according to the sheriff’s website. He has been booked at least six times into the county jail since 2008. Charges include marijuana possession, breaking and entering, larceny and assault on a female.

He was charged Monday with one count of murder, one count of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and three counts of attempted first-degree murder.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Campbell is asked to call 704-336-VCAT.
