Police are requesting the public’s help in locating a man suspected of robbing a Domino’s Pizza located at 4510 Sunset Road.

The subject (photo below)is estimated to be about 5-feet-10-inches tall and weighing about 215 pounds. He was described as heavy-set and was wearing blue baseball cap, white T-shirt and blue baggy jeans.

He drove a maroon-colored car (Photo below) into the parking lot of the Circle K, where the photo was taken.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.

Eastway sees rise in copper, tool thefts
Officers in the Eastway Division are reporting an increase in residential burglaries where copper is being taken from vacant houses.

Police say the suspects may appear to be construction workers or contractors and may strike during the week or on weekends. They are warning residents to keep a watchful eye on vacant houses on their streets.

Eastway officers also report an increase in burglaries from storage sheds where tools and lawn equipment are taken. Police remind residents that storage units should be secured.

Call 911 if you spot suspicious activity.
