Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are requesting the public’s help in locating a non-custodial father suspecting of abducting his son.

Police say 5-year-old Caleem El-Amin was last seen with his father, Christopher Hamilton, on April 19 in the 700 block of McArthur Ave.

Warrants have been signed charging Hamilton with violating a restraining order and abducting a child.

Caleem El-Amin in approximately 4 feet tall and weights approximately 46 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt grey pants and grey flip-flops.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
