Police: Man attacked two women in east Charlotte
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are looking for a man suspected of attacking two women this month in the Milton Road/Harris Boulevard/Sharon Amity Road corridors in east Charlotte.
The first incident occurred on Feb. 2 around 10:11 p.m.
A woman told police she was approached by a black male who demanded her purse, indicating that he had a weapon. The victim complied and the suspect then attempted to sexually assault her. The woman escaped before the suspect could complete the assault.
The second incident occurred on Feb. 4 around 12:40 a.m.
In that case, a woman told police she was approached by a black male who indicated that he had a weapon and demanded that she perform sex acts with him. The victim refused, a struggle ensued and the victim broke free and fled.
Both women described the suspect as being a light-skinned black male, late teens to early 20s, no facial hair and 5'6" to 5'8” in height. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded jacket.
