Police today released an image of a Ford truck that they suspect was involved in a Sunday hit-and-run that left a 68-year-old pedestrian dead along Brookshire Boulevard near Interstate 85.

The victim, George Lee Calebro, died around 5:19 a.m. while trying to cross in the 4200 block of Brookshire. It was the second time in less than a week and at least the third time this year that a pedestrian has been killed along that part of Brookshire Boulevard and the Brookshire Freeway.

Police said the vehicle involved in Sunday’s crash was a two-tone (dark blue over a lighter color) Ford F-150 pickup. The truck will is believed to have damage to the front grill (honeycomb style) and tinted bug guard.
