Beck: The next president will be a martyr, race riots imminent

Glenn Beck of Fox News has a word of caution for the next American president. “It’s going to be a brutal four years,” he said. Recently on his radio talk show, Beck also said he believes the next president should be willing to die like Abraham Lincoln.

Beck believes that if President Obama is not re-elected, black people will rebel. “I firmly believe that race riots are on the way. They are being encouraged.” Beck went on to note that the Clinton administration allegedly defaced parts of the White House when leaving Office. He asked: “What do you think these people are going to do?” He said, “This administration won’t worry about the White House; they will take this country down.”

Wow! Really?

Beck will move the one-hour TV show he hosted on FOX there, extending it another hour. (Read more)

Teen sentenced in rape of elderly woman

A jury of seven men and five women found Robert McFadden, 18, guilty of raping an 83-year-old grandmother. McFadden, who was 16 at the time of the rape, was sentenced to at least 9 ½ years in prison. It was the maximum sentence allowed. McFadden was convicted on charges of second-degree rape and breaking and entering. He was acquitted of first-degree kidnapping. The Charlotte Observer reports that McFadden cried as the verdict was read. His uncle cried and said he should have done more to help his nephew because his parents were not around. McFadden’s grandmother, who helped raised him, tearfully apologized to the victim’s family. The victim, now 84, was not in the courtroom during the verdict. Some think McFadden should have received more time behind bars. Do you agree? (Read more)
