Save money on college applications
Applying for college can be expensive. The average application can cost anywhere from $50 to $100 to submit, but students interested in attending a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) can lower those costs by using the EDU, Inc. Common Black College Application.
The 2011-12 application is now available online and allows students to apply to 36 different HBCU’s by completing one application and paying a one-time fee of $35.
“The use of the EDU, Inc. application greatly increases students' options by allowing them to receive acceptance letters, financial aid packages, and scholarship offers from several different schools,” said Robert Mason, president and founder of EDU, Inc.
Mason said the EDU application process also reduces the workload of guidance counselors by allowing them to submit student transcripts and test scores to several HBCU’s at the same time.
EDU Inc. has been providing this service for over a decade. To date, over 100,000 students have used the service to apply for college.
