The Charlotte-Mecklenburg School Board will host a series of public forums in June to get feedback from parents, staff and community members about the district’s “guiding principles.”

Topics will include the district’s student assignment plan, magnet schools, diversity and school capacity.

The board has scheduled a June 29 vote on a set of revised principles.

Meetings are scheduled for:

  • June 21 at Harding High School (6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.)
  • June 22 at the Government Center (6 p.m.)
  • June 24 at South Mecklenburg High School (6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.)
  • June 28 at Hopewell High School (6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.)
