ROBBERY: A robber struck a KFC restaurant on Beatties Ford Road shortly after noon Wednesday. The suspect, described as a black male, pushed a store employee to the ground as he went behind the counter and took money from the register. The robber fled the area on foot toward LaSalle Street.

ROBBERY: A Shell station in the 28200 block of Little Rock Road was struck by robbers shortly after 7 a.m. The suspects, described as three black males, were armed with a handgun. They fled in an older-model Pontiac Grand Am with tinted windows.

ROBBERY: A victim was robbed at gunpoint by two black males shortly after 3 a.m. Wednesday in the 500 block of Spruce Street. No one was injured.

ROBBERY: A man told police he was robbed shortly after 2 a.m. Wednesday in the 7300 block of IBM Drive. The suspects were described as a black male and a black female. No injuries were reported.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: A woman armed with a knife attempted to rob a Sam’s Mart in the 2800 block of Little Rock Road shortlyt before 1:30 a.m. Wednesday. The suspect was arrested as she was exiting the store. She was taken to Carolinas Medical Center for evaluation “due to her mental state,” police said.

ROBBERY/ASSAULT: A victim reported being assaulted by three black males during an attempted robbery in the 800 block of N. Sharon Amity Road just after 10:30 p.m. Tuesday. The suspects fled on foot, and the victim was taken to Presbyterian Hospital with minor injuries.
