Victim robbed at gunpoint in uptown Charlotte

ROBERY: A victim was robbed at gunpoint early Friday at 8th and Brevard streets in uptown Charlotte. The assailant was described as a black male. Police said the suspect fled on foot and no one was injured. The incident occurred just after 2 a.m.

ROBBERY: A female told police she was robbed around 11:14 p.m. Thursday by three black males in the 8000 block of N. Tryon Street. The suspects fled in a burgundy-colored SUV. The victim was not injured.

ROBBERY: A victim was shot in the leg after 11 p.m. Wednesday night during a robbery attempt in the Grier Heights section of southeast Charlotte. The victim described the suspects as two black males. The victim was treated at Carolinas Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
