Five Nigerian churches bombed on Christmas
Dozens are dead and wounded after churches in five Nigerian cities were struck with a stream of bombs on Sunday — marking the second holiday season that bombs have hit Christian houses of worship in the west African nation. A spokesman for the Nigerian Red Cross said the situation is now under control now and security agents have secured the streets close to bombed areas. (Read more)

Mega-church members: “We don’t want Paula White”
Members of New Destiny Christian Center, a mega-church based in Orlando, are protesting after receiving news that Tampa-based pastor Paula White will be leading the congregation. Some members walked out of a Thursday night church service after being told that on Jan. 1, White would be named to replace their late pastor Zachary Tims. They believe their late pastor’s wife Riva Tims should take lead. (Read more)

“Basketball Wives” star Tammy Roman is being sued for $500k over stolen hairweave allegations. Constance Corleone, owner of the hair extension line Bella Dream Hair, claims that Roman is using a photo of herself wearing Corleone’s extensions to promote her own hair line — Curls by Roman. Floyd Mayweather’s new digs
After being flooded with inquiries about boxing champion Floyd Mayweather’s jail term, the Las Vegas Police Department released a photo of a jail cell similar to the one where Mayweather will be spending the next 90 days. (Read more)
