Weiner admits he lied

Yesterday, U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner (video below) admitted he lied when he claimed that a hacker posted a lewd photo to his Twitter account. He also admitted to carrying on inappropriate relationships with several women online.

Fox News reports that when asked if any of the women where minors, Weiner responded, "I don't know the exact ages of the women," he said. "But they're all adults, at least to the best of my knowledge, they were all adults and they were engaging in these conversations consensually. Someone could theoretically have been fibbing about [their age] and that's a risk." Weiner claimed he “panicked” after accidentally posting the Twitter photo. "I lied because I was ashamed at what I had done, and I didn't want to get caught," he said.

QUESTION: Weiner claims that he never met these women in person and only corresponded online. Is it still considered an affair? Tell us in the comment section below.
