Discovery Place is offering the chance to win a week-long session at ScienceReach Summer Camp. The winner can enjoy a summer adventure exploring color, chemistry and other cool and wacky science stuff like dark goop that glows in the dark.

ScienceReach is Discovery Place’s museum-on-wheels, bringing educational summer camps to various locations across Charlotte, including Mint Hill, Pineville, Huntersville or the Carolinas Aviation Museum.

Campers, rising grades K-8, will learn things like how to suture wounds or make rockets fly.

To enter, simply answer the question, “Why do you want to win a Discovery Place ScienceReach Summer Camp?” Responses may be submitted by email to camps@discoveryplace.org or by postal mail to:

Please be sure to include your full name, address, telephone number and email with your entry. The contest closes May 13 at 5:00 p.m. and the winner, selected by a panel of Discovery Place staff judges, will be announced on Discovery Place’s Facebook page and contacted by telephone on May 16.
