Three men broke into a home on Farm Pond Lane in east Charlotte Friday morning and sexually assaulted a female occupant.

Police said three residents were inside the house at the time of the assault, which happened around 7:30 a.m.

Victims told police that two men entered the home through a back window. Once inside, one of the suspects forced two of the residents into a closet. A third suspect was let in through the front door by one of the first two suspects.

Two of the suspects then took a female out of the closet and sexually assaulted her  while the third suspect vandalized the home and stole items

All three fled in an unknown direction by unknown methods.

They were described as follows:

• Suspect 1: A dark-skinned black male, 6’2-6’3 in height, 23-24 years old, wearing dark clothing.
• Suspect 2: A black male, 5’10 in height, long hair, skinny, dark loose clothing, with a shirt over his face.
• Suspect 3: A black male, medium build, round face, wearing black shades, short hair, with a baseball hat.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600. Anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest of the suspect is eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000.
