At 4:36 a.m. Monday, police issued the following traffic advisory: Statesville Avenue will be closed in both directions in the 2400 block due to an accident that broke a power pole, leaving live power lines in the roadway. It is anticipated that the closure will be in effect through the morning rush hour. All traffic should use North Graham Street or Beatties Ford Road as alternate routes.
