I’ve pretty much had it with Skip Gates and James Crowley.

Am I alone in this?

Am I the only one who thinks this whole ugly mess could have been avoided if both men had acted like grownups?

Am I the only one who still believes Gates overplayed the race card, that Crowley, basically, was a bully with a badge?

I see the two men drinking beer with President Obama and I think: What happened to all the righteous indignation?

Mostly, it makes me angry for the real victims of police brutality, black men with names like Rodney King, Abner Louima, Amadou Diallo and Sean Bell.

Yes, Yes, Yes and more yes! The media overplayed it just like the two guys in this case and look at the additonal fallout with another copy losing his job. The problem with race relations is broad and my dear black people have no silver solution except sometimes to make white people feel guilty. I say if we spent as much time on raising the issue of low educational attainment, youth violence we would be in a better place as we do about what some white officers did to offend us...
